Future Flight Standards Programme webinar

BSI is leading the Future Flight Standards Programme, in partnership with UKRI, and together with
the Future Flight Challenge consortia and industry stakeholders. This will accelerate the safe trialling,
development and integration of new types of aircraft and air mobility.
The programme includes the identification, prioritization and development of consensus-based
standards, a landscape summarizing the key standards in the area, and a roadmap to address key
gaps in the future flight ecosystem.
BSI is keen for ARPAS members to get involved and benefit from the programme. Opportunities for
you to do so include:
- Participating in the free webinar on 19 July to learn more about the programme, discover the value of standards in the Future Flight arena, and hear from stakeholders including UKRI, the CAA and Boeing – register here
- Joining the online Future Flight Standards Hub to engage with other industry stakeholders on common challenges, discuss emerging best practice, share knowledge, and gain insight on standards
- Exploring the interactive standards landscape tool to discover relevant standards and comment on potential gaps to address in future – join the discussion on the Hub
- Using and commenting on new standards, with version one of first of these, a future flight vocabulary of key industry terms due out over the summer – this will be signposted on the main programme web page and online community
